About Livingston Studios
Founded in August 2013 by Asti Livingston, the vision of what the studio is to become was still in its infancy. Ever since Asti entered the world of voice over she longed for a place where all artists in the industry could gather, train, share knowledge, and experiences. A place where new talents could be discovered, and creativity could flow and flourish.
Things did not happen overnight, there were many factors to consider upon entering such an enterprise. Obstacles were constantly encountered even in the early stages. However, after listening to the needs of fellow voiceover artists Asti decided that her dream had to come to a reality.
A site was found at the old Munitions Factory building which dated from 1911. The building has gone through extensive renovations and housed a well established recording studio, animation, graphics, a TV/Film production company, and other professionals in the industry. It is a perfect fit.
Establishing a studio for voice over training is not all that she had set out to do. Asti wanted the studio to be a hub for all voice over talents. A sanctuary where voice actors and actresses could go to when they need assistance in improving their craft, hone their skills, or just be around fellow artists. She wanted the studio to be welcoming to children and senior voice talents alike, and open the doors to the handicapped, and troops that are currently in active duty or have previously served in the military.
Now with all the renovations completed Livingston Studios is here to do just that.
