Livingston Studios

Asti Livingston was born in a fort in the Philippines, grew up in the jungles of Kalimantan (Borneo), lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, Manila, Philippines, San Diego, California, Richmond, Virginia, and London, England before settling in Toronto, Canada.

While studying in university Asti was chosen for the Master Class and trained directly by Marni Nixon (who was the singing voice for Eliza in the movie "My Fair Lady"). As part of the San Diego Mission Choir she has sang at a variety of places including the U.S.S Kittyhawk, and singing for the Pope at the Vatican. An alumnae of Grossmont College and SDSU (San Diego State University) Asti holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child & Family Development. She is a licensed pilot who greatly enjoy flying twins, biplanes, and float planes. When not flying she can be found underwater taking pictures of various underwater creatures such as mantas, turtles, nudibranchs, a variety of fish, including sharks. An avid fencer, she has competed at the Provincials and Nationals in Canada.

A mother of four children, Asti is the past chair of the Ninety-Nines Organization of women pilots First Canadian Chapter, East Canada Section, supports a number of charities, and regularly invited to speak at various schools & functions including the Girl Guides of Canada and the CWIA (Canadian Women in Aviation) Conference.

Participating as an actress & co-producer in the 48 hour film competition in Toronto Bevy of Brollies won Best Music, and top 5 Best of Screening. The first feature film she was writer/director/actress in Morse Code is currently at post-production.

After receiving her Producer & Director's certificates with Raindance Films Asti worked actively in the film industry to gain experience. Soon she decided it was time to create a studio dedicated to a new generation of filmmakers & artists. A space where writers, producers, directors, musicians, film/tv actors and actresses, and voice actors could create, collaborate, train, feel at home at, and be free to work their magic. With this in mind Livingston Studios was created.

For every dream to come true hard work and perseverance must follow. It also helps to have a friend and a guiding hand to lead the way to make that dream a reality. I was fortunate enough in my life to have so many people support me to enable my dreams to come true. Now it's my turn to return the favour. In an industry which is highly competitive and full of challenges may you find a haven at Livingston Studios to assist in making your dreams come to a reality. Good luck!

Follow your dreams..."
